 the House is at risk

We flipped the House in 2018 and need to hold it in 2020.

It took an historic Blue Wave of Democratic voters to squeak out close wins in many of the 40 districts that flipped in 2018. The Republicans need to win back only 18 of those seats to regain the majority. In many districts all that’s needed is a shift of a few thousand votes. The candidates on our Hold the House slate have already been targeted by the GOP, and are in states that are likely to have a high-impact on control of the Senate and/or the White House.

Our House candidates are all:

  • Newly elected Democrats who flipped their district in 2018 and won by less than 5%

  • Targeted by the Republican Congressional Campaign Committee

  • 2019 DCCC Frontline Members

Early money enables our candidates to:

  • fend off GOP attacks

  • hire campaign staff

  • make media buys at early lower rates

  • drive voter turnout benefitting other Democrats up and down the ballot

  • spend less time fundraising and more time serving their districts

Our slate will change from time to time as the elections develop and the political landscape evolves.
